After a five minute opening statement, it didn’t take long for Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops to receive questions over the state of his program. Whether it was off-the-field issues or about the debacle of last season, Stoops was quickly put into the line of fire.
“Well, a lot gives me optimism, a 17-year background,” Stoops said. “We’re just a year removed from being in the top ten and winning the Sugar Bowl.”
