Bills sign DTs Jordan Phillips, Quinton Jefferson

The Buffalo Bills signed defensive tackles Jordan Phillips and Quinton Jefferson to one-year contracts on Wednesday.

Financial terms were not disclosed by the Bills.

Phillips, 32, will be making his third stint with Buffalo. He made one tackle in two games this season with the Dallas Cowboys before being placed on injured reserve Sept. 18 due to a wrist injury.

The Cowboys never activated him off injured reserve and released him Tuesday after the NFL trade deadline.

Phillips has totaled 182 tackles, 24 sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one interception in 122 career games (62 starts) with the Miami Dolphins (2015-18), Bills (2018-19, 2022-23), Arizona Cardinals (2020-21) and Cowboys.

Jefferson, who spent the 2020 season with the Bills, had six tackles and one sack in five games with the Cleveland Browns in 2024 before being released on Tuesday.

Jefferson, 31, has 198 tackles, 27.5 sacks, 79 quarterback hits and four fumble recoveries in 108 games (62 starts) with the Seattle Seahawks (2016-19, 2022), Bills (2020), Las Vegas Raiders (2021), New York Jets (2023) and Browns.
