Duncan Powell had 11 points and 12 boards for Georgia Tech.The Yellow Jackets played without starters Javian McCollum and Kowacie Reeves Jr. due to injuries. Georgia Tech shot 41.5 percent from the field, going 5-for-19 from 3-point range.The Sooners connected on 38.5 percent of their shots overall and were 10-for-28 from behind the arc.Oklahoma rattled off 14 straight points — the last five of the first half, the first nine of the second — to take a 39-34 lead. Moore, who formerly played for Georgia Tech, drove for a layup to cap the spurt with 16:25 left in the game.The run increased to 20-3 when Goodine buried a 3-pointer for a 45-37 lead with 12:56 left in the game.Georgia Tech missed its first eight second-half shots until Powell barely beat the shot clock for a dunk with 12:23 left in the contest.Goodine knocked down another trey 18 seconds later to give the Sooners a nine-point lead.
