Quarterback Ryan Browne has opted to transfer back to Purdue after joining North Carolina earlier this offseason.Browne transferred to the Tar Heels in December after two seasons with the Boilermakers. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound quarterback went through spring practice under new North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick before making his intentions known on social media Friday.That came one day after the Tar Heels landed a commitment from South Alabama transfer quarterback Gio Lopez.
